Programme 2026
The Platformers’ Days 2026 will once again be accompanied by a hands-on supporting program – featuring proven formats and new highlights.
Look forward to the Demo-Area with live demonstrations in the outdoor exhibition space, as well as two new focal points: For the first time, we will present the Special Showcase for Industrial Trucks as a dedicated exhibition in hall 1. In addition, the Low-Level Access Area will celebrate its premiere, focusing on compact solutions for working at low heights.
The two exhibition days will be rounded off by the PD-Networking-Night, offering space for personal exchange in a special atmosphere.

Demo-Area
Location: Outdoor exhibition area
Various telescopic boom lifts, scissor lifts and mini cranes were on demonstration on the outdoor exhibition area under realistic building site conditions. During this live demonstration, visitors had the opportunity to experience the machines right in the field and compare their off-road capability, levelling of height differences or load capacity and compactness. There were 3 shows of 45 minutes each on the Friday of the fair and 2 shows of 45 minutes each on the Saturday of the fair. The demonstration area can also be used beyond the show times to offer customer demonstrations.
Electro-Park
Location: Hall 1
In the Electro-Park, which has been moved to the centre of Hall 1, visitors have found two main topics: A model construction site showing the façade construction of a warehouse and one dealing with the installation of solar panels on a detached house - both working completely emission-free, without a combustion engine and with low noise levels. Both shows featured three participants who have used a trailer crane, telescopic boom lift or tracked boom lift to bring part of the construction site to life. There were two 45-minute shows on the Friday and Saturday of the fair. During the shows, industry experts have answered moderator Raoul Helmer's questions in an interview.
PD-Networking-Night 2024 presents Wine.Dine.Dance
Location: Atrium + Events hall
in 2024, the PD Networking Night was all about “Wine. Dine. Dance.” with numerous entertainment options that left nothing to be desired. Germany's largest wine box, a mobile wine tasting with exquisite Palatinate wines and fine cuisine promised an evening full of Palatinate joie de vivre! The selection was as varied as the art of wine itself and offered every guest exactly what they wanted from the evening. In the indoor area with a focus on “Dine & Dance”, guests met in front of the stage in the action hall with cool drinks to dance the night away with the popular PD party band Soundaffair. The perfect balance to the lively party atmosphere was provided in the outdoor area of the atrium with a focus on “Wine”. Here, in a relaxed atmosphere and accompanied by a good glass of wine, people philosophized about old times or forged new alliances, and if that wasn't enough, there were plenty of machine highlights and surprises to discover on the grounds of the PD Networking Night to mark the 25th anniversary of the trade fair!
